How it works
Install

Browse the web normally
The extension runs automatically on every page you visit. No sign-in, no account, no data leaves your browser.
Look for the chip on the video
A small colored badge appears on the player showing whether the video is TrueLORE-signed and cryptographically authentic.
What the badges mean
The extension found a video and is running the cryptographic check.
Signature is valid — this is authentic TrueLORE content, unmodified since capture.
No TrueLORE signature was found. This is likely a regular web video, not TrueLORE content.
Fetch or parse failed — could be a network issue, a corrupt file, or a missing key.
What it verifies
MP4 downloads
Verified with double-layer checking. The bundled lore-mp4-js library parses the embedded viadpl# JWT, then an independent WebCrypto RSASSA-PKCS1-v1_5 / SHA-256 check confirms the signature against the public key referenced in the JWT header.
HLS live streams
The extension inspects .m3u8 manifests at the network layer, extracts #EXT-X-PUBLICKEY and #EXT-X-RSA-SIG tags, and samples up to three signed segments per stream to confirm authenticity.

All verification runs locally in your browser. The extension does not send any browsing data, video URLs, or personal information to TrueLORE or anywhere else.

- The only way to catch HLS manifests (.m3u8). They never land in the DOM, so the extension has to see them at the network layer.
